About the festival

Born in 2016 to champion emerging storytellers, the Fleurieu Film Festival is South Australia’s premier short film celebration under the stars. We take amazing films out of cramped theatres and drop it right into the heart of McLaren Vale with local wine, food trucks, and great vibes. It is pretty simple, really: filmmakers send us their best work, our industry judges pick the shortlist, and we bring everyone together for a massive outdoor screening and awards night. Great films, big awards, good food, repeat!
